What is Public Housing? Public Housing Authorities were created
by the government to help people of lower income find safe, decent, and affordable housing. We do that by renting public
housing apartments, market rate apartments, selling affordable homes, and building new affordable homes for home ownership.
We also provide programs which help families who struggle with low incomes stay in thier homes and keep thier families together.
Please spend some time reading our web site and learn about what we do. Then check out the HUD Public Housing Web Site below
to learn more.
